What is the Purpose of Life to You?

Some People:
The purpose of life was to acquire wealth.

Musleemah:
But it did not help me.

Some People:
To acquire millions of dollars.

Musleemah:
Not helping either.

Some People:
After collecting the money they have dreamed of their lives loose purpose and then they live in restless tension suffering from a feeling of worthlessness.

Musleemah:
Could the acquisition of wealth guarantee happiness? Of course not. It doesn’t seems to work on those millionaire stars either. To what I’ve been reading in the newspaper, the millionaires or members of their families will either commit suicide or is a pleasant to see them in the world of nowhere to go. Oops! =X

Have you ever ponder or take the chance to do some reflections upon yourself. Don’t you guys own a very big mirror in your room. Take a look at yourself in the mirror. Ask yourself clearly,

“What is the purpose of L I F E? Y O U R Life? M Y Life?”

How can we directly assume or consider that life will be wonderful and happiness will appear just like that by earning lots and lots of money? Having great wealth is everything to you? And your language of wealth is just about money. When many of us do believe that the true Wealth is Health. Masya-ALLAH. With Healthy lifestyle, you can do just anything to appreciate the beauty of nature that was uniquely created by ALLAH the Al-mighty!

Told ya to think. But you chose to judge so stereotypically. You’ve showed to the world how easily swayed and gullible a person can be.

The way people thought of gaining great wealth are just too inevitable. Well, I am not saying that I loathe you just because you think that way. People have their own opportunity to voice out their own opinions. Am I Right?

But the thing is you’ve been judging about life so differently. Corrections, you’re just so Un-Right! Aha, get my point now?

Wealth can only do a little and perhaps it can do nothing at all to bring the joyfulness to one who does not believe in the  Al-Mighty, one and only GOD, ALLAH. As people accumulate more wealth, they tend to live in more fear. They would wonder about their unfinished business in life, of what would become of them and how do their life end up like.

I have seen these people was doom by their own greatest wealth in life. Instead of living in peace and harmony, yet they lived in their own world of self-destruction. Ouch! It hurts you.

Wealth is not everything. Wealth is just a temporary success. When you have accumulated great wealth, it means the game of your life has just started. Having more wealth, you will have to face more unpleasant consequences in life. More pain in the heart. And more tribulations that you need to overcome. With? Iman, if you had keep it safely in your fragile little heart. What if you don’t? With what else you’re going to face those difficulties? IDK.

Let me share with you something beautiful which I have learned all this while through out my journey of 20 years of living.

I have came to realise about how important our health is. Without it, can you do anything useful to show the sense of appreciation upon HIS nature? So, the first thing I will do after each prayer is to say the words of Alhamdulillah 3 times per shalat. To whom? To nobody except to the Creator of this world including the littlest thing in it. HE does not only owned 99 Names. But many! And one of it which is so popular is ALLAH. And I believe until this point of time there are people calling out HIS precious name. Subhan-ALLAH! How can you assume of living happily when you don’t even own that precious name in your heart. When you don’t even believe that HE is there watching over you. HE is always there in giving you HIS light of guidance.

Have you ever had a fleeting glimpse of how beautiful your life is? But to whom will you want to voice out the feeling of syukr? If not to the one who has given the most ravishing light into your soul. So what is the exact use of wealth for you when there’s no belief? Many of you… you… you… remain sceptical when the truth about people with so many wealth has become the true bullets to their own life. They end up being so lost.

ISLAM = Total surrender, submission, obedience, purity of heart and peace. So, are any of these above belongs to your Musleem identity? Some don’t even own any of it. Only to those who’re trying hard to attain these actions are called MUSLEEMs Mu’meen (= ISLAM-ers).

Purpose of life as MUSLEEM Mu’meen, the understanding of the word ibadah is so important to us. Which truly means to worship to the One True Almighty God on Terms and under His Conditions. It does not really matters of how you do it. But your niat is the result of everything.

Life is a test. You believe in that. But you can’t believe that HE’s there. Isn’t that odd? Or should I say it sounds funny.

As for me and other Musleems, we will be sharing the same objective in life.

And I have no doubt in this mind that,

ღ I am only created by ALLAH 
ღ I will spent only a period of time fii dunya
ღ I know that sooner or later I will die 
ღ I know about spending some time in the grave, either pleasant or difficult depending on how my attitude and actions all these while fii dunya 
ღ I know I will be resurrected for the Day of Judgment 
ღ And I also know that I will be judged according to the most fair of standards by ALLAH the Almighty

Insya-ALLAH, I will spend most of my precious time scrutinizing my own behaviour, attitude and actions. That includes my own passion in something. Whatever I’m doing all this while is not to get something good in return. But all I need and all I have been missing for is the tranquillity feel from ALLAH Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala. That is all I’ve been seeking for. Not to accumulate more wealth and end up being lost in the path of Syaitan. Nauzhubillahi Minzhaliq. May ALLAH be with me always. ALLAHUMMA AMEEN.

See… If you’re smart enough, you should find out how Islam solves the mystery of the puzzle of life. It provides the answers to the questions and concerns of the human beings on all levels and in every aspect. The life of ISLAM is uniquely understandable. We must come to know our Creator, Sustainer and Ultimate Judge. The most perfect answer is to learn the bodacious words of kalimah ALLAH from the one and only Al-Qur’an. That includes the understanding of Al-Hadeeths. Insya-ALLAH, you’ll find peace there. Not only peace, but the answer to every of your convoluted questions. Insya-ALLAH. When there’s will, there’s a way.

Last but not least. Obey GOD (ALLAH). Our only purpose and salvation lie in these two valuable words. Okay buddies.

Musleemah must end her words here. Time is running out so soon! Astaghfirullah, almost 2:00 a.m now. My mom will freak out if she finds out I’m still awake at this hour.

Till here, I would like to take this big opportunity to apologize for the unseen scars I’ve made to those who have read this. Perhaps some of my words here are unseenly harsh to you. Whatever voluptuousness you may have seen in this world are all originally from ALLAH and those blemished words or whatever looks addled here all came from me, one of HIS slave whom sometimes own very little iman in this heart.

Life is chemistry in action. ALLAH wants to dilute our sorrows, evaporate our worries, filter our happiness and leave us with crystals of Love. Be thankful to HIM.
